Patient and Visitor Information

Thank you for choosing Duke Regional Hospital for your care. The staff of Duke Regional Hospital is dedicated to making sure you have the most positive health care experience possible.

We want you to feel that you can recommend Duke Regional Hospital to your family and friends without hesitation. That means providing not only excellent clinical care, but also all the other information and services that make accessing that care more comfortable and convenient.

Duke Regional Hospital and Duke Medicine strive to provide high quality and safe patient care. If for any reason you have concerns about the care provided, we encourage you to discuss this with your provider, or with clinic, hospital, or health system management. You may also call our patient advocacy department at 919-470-4747.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Joint Commission at 800-994-6610 or by e-mail at complaint@jointcommission.org.

Interpreters

If a patient has difficulty speaking or understanding English, or if the patient’s hearing is impaired, the hospital will provide assistance free of charge.  Please notify your nurse if you would like any assistance.

If the patient’s native language is Spanish, an in-house Spanish interpreter is available, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Sign Language video interpreters are available to assist the hearing impaired.

Si un paciente tiene dificultad para hablar o entender el inglés, o si el paciente tiene una incapacidad auditiva, el hospital ofrece ayuda gratuita.  Por favor, notifique a su enfermera si necesita ayuda.

Contamos con servicio de intérprete en español 7 días a la semana, 24 horas al día.

También hay intérpretes para lenguaje por señas que pueden asistir a personas con incapacidad auditiva.
